The Margaritaville Gold is pretty good. We use it when making pitchers of tequila. Don't recommend the White though.

I have a tequila called Centenario, anyone ever heard of that and is it any good? I don't drink, it's only for guests.

On the Edge has a bit of expertise in this area, as does Ol '96er' by the looks of it.

Margaritaville tequila, whether you are talking the Silver or the Gold, or the new, flavoured stuff they are selling, is mixing tequila. You put it in other stuff to cover the taste of the mixto.

Here it costs about $20 a bottle; for about $6 more, you can get 100% agave tequila that you can even use as a sipping tequila and enjoy it. The choice is yours.

pitchers of tequila? interesting... I prefer mine out of the bottle in a brown paper bag, you folks are a lot more classy than I dreamed of being... :D

I am guessing you meant pitchers of margaritas? :)

I tried it on a trip thru MSP last month. Was not really impressed. Was not the smooth, mellow taste of a good anejo, it kinda burned like bourbon and it won't be on my list of "need this in my cabinet" any time soon.

You need to wander over and meet us in Port Canaveral sometime to experience the proper use of mangos in drinks. Ask Candy about Double Os at the tiki bar! :o
