Just saw three movies in the past week....

Slingblade
Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Meet the Fockers

No real complaints about any of them, really. They all deliver what they advertise.

Went to see this last night. Not quite as good as the original, definitely worth the $5.

In Illy & NYC it's over $10. In fact, the only time I get a good rate is when I go to the Drive-In in Vineland NJ. $6 a head for a double feature. Not bad.

She did. She listed Lords of Dogtown directly after Dogtown and Z Boys.

We used to skate a spillway at one of the local state parks and got run out of there by the local park rangers on a regular basis, usually with them chasing after us screamin', "you're gonna break your freakin' necks!!!"

It would have been easier to let y'all break your necks - then they wouldn't have to chase you anymore

My keet and her friends and their driver (me) went to see the Legend of Zorro on Sunday. $5.00 per person for the early show. It's an okay movie, a bit predictable with some pretty fun stunts.

Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith

Probably not my favorite of the series but it did tie things up nicely which is all that it was meant to do. Lots of nice action sequences and other special effects which are a good reminder of how far this sort of moviemaking has come since the late 70s when the first Star Wars appeared on the screen.

Elephant

Not sure what the big deal was supposed to be about this movie. I slept through most of it.

Image
Rock School

Very enjoyable movie to watch but not really up there among my very favorite rock n' roll documentaries to be released this year. That honor would go to DiG!.

Image
Batman Begins

I feel asleep during much of this film's long set up but once things got underway it kept my attention. I wasn't sure what to expect with this treatment of the film but it defers greatly from any it's recieved before. This is much closer to the graphic novel versions I've seen over the years.
