Yeah, the line, "My eyes are up HERE" really does mean something to Shane.

Okay Mal...tell Matt nice try on the "farm raised coyotes" bit but I don't think so!

It sure gave me a chuckle though.
I choose not to wear fur, although I have seen some beautiful coats that are trimmed in fur. Perhaps if I lived some place really cold I might change my mind, hard to say. And it certainly would also depend on the type of animal. I've seen too many animals near extinction for their fur...my beloved otters being one species in particular.
I'm sure many ranchers and pet owners would be happy to contribute a coyote or twelve to the fur coat cause though.
I think your coat is beautiful and as long as you are comfortable with your decision to keep it and wear it, then that is all that matters. I don't really think you'll be harrassed for it, unless you start tailgaiting with the PETA crowd.

for the most part Fur is way too warm for me I would have no problem
wearing a fur coat.. If I lived where it was cold enough.

I wasn't sure how true that was anyway!
It does feel a little weird wearing something that used to "walk the plains"...and I'm still not completely OK with it...but since I pointed out this coat specifically to hubby (not realizing it was REAL fur) hubby did a great job of 'listening' to what I wanted.
The coat's a keeper!

Wear it, love it - it's not your fault you're at the top of the food chain.
Don't kid yourself - if that coyote had a gun and a thumb he'd be wearing a Mal coat right now...and not feeling the least bit of remorse about it.

Half of the the women in my family own furs (my mother owns three), and the rest wear leather. I don't think Peta likes us much.
