A picture is worth how many words? Not only may the water be deep and swift ... you may encounter something you never wanted to experience. At least this guy never saw it coming.... 8)

Somehow, I am skeptical of the authenticity of this photo.

If it's real, timing in life....

Can't ya feel them circling buddy?

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

I am surprised it survived for any length of time in a pool. A friend had a pool and would often get fiddler crabs in it, but they soon died because of the chlorine/fresh water.

I dunno if there is an unlawful way to take barracudas....well besides using explosives that is.

Big cuda's are really not safe to eat because they eat reef fishes and the toxin ciguatera accumulates in their body and can screw you up for the rest of your life. General rule of thumb is one no longer than your arm or 3 feet or less in length, are safe to eat.

I have seen some big cudas, well over six feet, up close and personal...while intimidating and scary looking, they were curious about us, and looking for a meal that thankfully was none of us. They did manage to get a fish that one guy had speared as soon as he had speared it...Their speed is nothing short of amazing.
