Any b-ball fans out there?

As for me, I've been bleeding Orange and Blue as long as I can remember.

College Basketball is great, NBA can rot in hell for all I care. After Latrell "I can't feed my kids on 14 million a year" Spreewell made an ass of himself last year that was my last straw with the NBA.

Back in the days of Jordan, Bird, Dr. J, basically the 80's to early 90's I loved watching the NBA, if those bust your ass type players were the norm today instead of these whiney ass crybabies with the exception of the Spurs I would go back to watching it.

Ahhh, the effects of the hip-hop generation.

I don't like it either. But I can't simply turn away from I team I've loved since the day I was born. Hopefully, this new youthful Knicks team will develop into a play-off team under Brown.

Although if they keep playing 4th quarters, like last night...

I don't blame you for sticking with your team even though the league has turned into a joke. When I did follow it my favorite teams were Utah and Charlotte.

The only team in the league right now I would pay money to see is the Spurs. I saw Tim Duncan play a couple of times when he was at Wake Forest and really liked the way he conducted himself on and off the court. That is the main benefit of going 4 years of college instead of straight out of high school.

We have a NBDL team here in Roanoke, I went to one game to give it a shot, the rap and hip hop music was so loud during timeouts I left after 1 quarter. Get rid of thug ball and the 14 million dollar cry babies and you will have alot of your original fanbase return.

It was interesting to see one of the teams make a mockery of the dress code by wearing white/red tuxes in the last couple days. Pro basketball: generally you only need to watch the 4th quarter.

I am a bigggggg Knick phan but...

I am very disappointed. They have had two embarassing loses and the off-season moves weren't that great. First of all the biggest mistake the Knicks made was trading Kurt Thomas for Richardson and Robinson. Thomas got you tons of rebounds, had good pick and role plays with Marbury, and best of all he was the only Knick that actually played DEFENSE. I don't think I have heard good and Defense and Knicks in the same sentence by a Knick phan. Larry Brown was ok but if you're going to get a great coach you need to get players that Larry Brown likes. Experienced players and defensive players. The team has some defensive players but most offensive and other than Davis the rest are young. Robinson, Frye, Ariza, are young and even Curry is still 22. If the Knicks want to do good then they need another big player. Someone that he and Marbury could have a 1-2 punch with.

Unfortunately, if the Knicks ever trade for a big star, they will be even further under the salary cap, if that is at all possible. :-?

Ditto, however, I'll say what little I believe. The Knicks are going to the playoffs, the Sixers aren't and the Lakers are over. That's all I got.

Boy do I agree-I loved watching Magic, Bird and Jordan but not these selfish, no appreciation for the past players. My interest turned when the NBA saluted the 50 greatest of all time---all but 2 players named were there (I think it was 2, it might have been 3). I believe that one of the two was deceased, and the other was Shaq who apparently could not be bothered to show up and be with the others.

As big of a Knicks fan I am, the chances of them making it are pretty slim. But it's early, Brown always gets off to slow starts with his new teams, so who knows.
