One of the radio stations in the Philly area has already begun playing Christmas music 24/7. Does it make me a Scrooge if I think this is rushing the season just a tad?

DO! :) Great show! Just ignore the 45 minute 'preview' time before the show ACTUALLY starts!

And there was a condo complex I passed tonight with lights on their Evergreens.... and then all the stuff at the grocery store.

Maybe it got reaaaaaallllly cold when they went to take them down, and didn't want to be on the roof on a cold, windy day? :)

They have been playing it for at least 4 weeks. I"ve been amazed whenever I go past this station. The first day I left it on for a bit thinking it was a joke and somebody was going to come in with hahaha or something. But no, they're serious.

That's overdoing it. Everyone will be sick of Christmas music before December!

We live close to our city's 7-acre park, and I've been watching them put up the Christmas decs during my daily morning walk. They started Nov. 1.

One guy was in a cherry picker, hanging giant balls on the top of a full-size magnolia. Another guy was on the ground yelling, "You've got way too many on that side; there's a bare spot over here," just like he probably does with his wife decorating the tree at home. The guy in the cherry picker rolled his eyes at me (as best I could tell from 60 feet below).

There's a station here in Portland doing it also. My 6 year old daughter thinks it's great. She is already making her list for Santa.

You shouldn't be allowed to play Christmas music or put up Christmas decorations until Christmas Eve. And everything should stop December 26.

There should be no Christmas anything allowed until Santa has completed his route in the Macy's parade (shameless plug for my sister)
