Fingers Taylor on Hog's Breath stage cam right now

For those interested...Fingers is playing with Hugo Duarte right now and you can listen to them if you go to the Hog's Breath web site. Click on the stage cam. Last night Peter and John Mayer joined the band for a couple of songs. Enjoy!!

I thought it was kinda interesting last night when Jim and Peter Mayer took the stage, fingers took a break. I was a little dissappointed. I was hoping he would play a couple of songs with them on stage too.

After seeing and listening to "Fingers" tonight from the Hog's Breath, I have to say that I'm over him. He's an above average harp player and that's about it. I'm nonplused with his stage persona and vocals. I truly feel Jimmy's music has evolved to a level that is beyond Fingers. Hugo and Living Soul and the Pearl Divers seem to be more appropriate venues for him.

Ok....I agree that Jimmy's music has evolved beyond Fingers. It had to. Jimmy has done well changing the music and letting the other folks in the band take a bigger role. There is no doubt that Fingers is, or would be missed, on a few songs. The main reason I posted this is because many of us hold on to the past, as well as, enjoy Fingers' playing harmonica. I disagree that he is only an above average harp player. I have had the chance to see him with another band that played blues/rock and he was absolutely amazing. I had the chance to talk to him a little bit and he was as nice as could be. He is very thankful to the Parrotheads and the people that come to see him. He is very nice in person, and plays a mean harmonica (in my personal opinion). I understand you being over Fingers and moving on (as far as Jimmy's music). I have too, but I really like Fingers' harmonica playing and feel he is more than 'above average'.
Just my opinion. Not to be taken personal, or in a mean way. Everybody has their own feelings and opinions. You may catch from heat, and if so, I'm just glad you haven't forgot to duck.

Sunday night after Hugo finished playing, Fingers took over.
It was nice to see Fingers let loose and enjoy himself with a blues tune--granted, Fingers isn't a great singer, but he does seem to have fun!
