I just saw a blurb on (I think) CNN yesterday about how Jake's music was playing in a surf shop when Jimmy went in. He asked the store employee who's music was playing and the person told Jimmy it was Jake.

True story? How long ago? Did he open for Jimmy alot and is he still connected? How cool to be discovered by JB. I long to be "discovered" by Jimmy or anybody!!! (Of course I have no real talent so wish me luck!)

Jake has played in several shows this year. I think it was at least at Great Woods, Pittsburgh, the 10/29 Vegas show, Bristow, VA. THere may be others, just those are off the top of my head.
