Vanilla Orchids

I'm wondering if any plant afficionado's out there have any experience with vanilla orchids, or Vanilla Planifolia's.

I just recently received three of these as gifts, and am a little unfamiliar with the vanilla orchid. I have a number of other ones that I have had for years, but never one that grows as a vine. I haven't been able to find much info online regarding home growing of this kind.

Has anyone else out there grown or know much about this kind?

:oops: :oops: I actually don't bake cookies for Thanksgiving...I bake breads and cakes. Cookie baking starts December 2nd :)
