Interested in your first impression or open to other suggestions that may help us refine the process.....

I like Gringo in the Garden better.
Crescent Moon is a great name, but doesn't make me think of landscaping. Makes me think more of a coffe shop or a bookstore.

I like Gringo better too. Your business name should (somewhat) let people know what you do. I saw one called The 'Scape Artists.... I thought that was adorable.

Cresent Moon makes me think of Ramadon and Islamic nations flags. You might as well call it Al Kada's, the homeland security nazi's will be all over you

well cannot say I thought of that
the logo would be shadowed landscape with a cresecent moon.
Gringo in the Garden.......infers a specific message...BUT not sure it would be taken seriously by the upscale clients we would be targeting.
Scape-Artists.....clever!!!!!!!

Good question....I don't imagine it would be ya never know...the largest obstacle upscale clients face is being able to communicate with the contractor....the distance between upscale and basic mow blow and go is huge in So. Cal.

Gringo in the Garden seems more catchy.
How about "The Great 'Scape"? (running with the Scape Artists idea)

not sure we need to be so upfront with that message, though talking to many in the biz for years suggest its a pivotal concern
....just including "fine landscaping" might do the job?
appreciate the names....we could use all the help we can get
our last name is Seymoure...imagine the play on that

"We Can Dig It"?
Yeah, didn't think so but it's way better than my first few thoughts:
Serial Rakists
Crack Hoers
Dirty Dealers
