Borders has "Live At Fenway"
I am sorry if someone already posted this but I was shopping last night and the Borders @Clark and Diversey in Chicago had the new album. It was $25.99

That is over the list price. I paid half of that at a Circuit City.Pirate slightly over 50 wrote:I am sorry if someone already posted this but I was shopping last night and the Borders @Clark and Diversey in Chicago had the new album. It was $25.99

Sweet Caroline was done with WDWGDAS. Listen to it, you will hear it about halfway through.dutchmen65 wrote:SO then what is the Real release date for Live at Fenway? I bought it on Tuesday at Circuit City in Schaumburg for only 14.99. Also I cannot find the song sweet Caroline on my CD. PLus did you notice that he skipped a line on Southern Cross? Pretty Funny.

Actually, list price on this disc is $26.98.ejr wrote:

Still, $25 is a lot.
The sale price of $14.99 or $15.99 will likely only last one or two weeks at the brick and mortar stores.

Not sure what your source is, but Mailboat Records website has it for $24.95 and since they produced it, I assumed that was list price.cartmill72 wrote:Actually, list price on this disc is $26.98.ejr wrote:

Yeah, Mailboat is reliable.ejr wrote:Not sure what your source is, but Mailboat Records website has it for $24.95 and since they produced it, I assumed that was list price.cartmill72 wrote:Actually, list price on this disc is $26.98.ejr wrote:

Actually, the price of a CD has more to do with distributor and wholesaler prices than what a label suggests as the list price. So, while Mailboat may be selling it at $25, wholesalers and distributors selling to other stores may actually be marking up the prices. Amazon.com, for instance, bought "Fenway" from a distributor suggesting the list price at $26.98. I have two other catalogs suggesting the list price at $25.98 and still another suggesting $24.99. The best bet is to look at what the big guys (Amazon, Wal Mart, etc.) are stating as the list price, not what the label is stating.

Ooooooo......gonna get mine on Tuesday at Borders now. Just got a birthday present from a friend...ASPOL paperback...and since I already have the hardback, I'll exchange that for the CD and with the 30% off that should be pretty close. She was disappointed when I told her I'd already read it, but I told her I'd make a good exchange next week!
