Rita Cosby goes inside life at the Bunny Ranch

Post by Sam »

This was interesting. It is unbelieveable how much money they make and for they usually do to earn it. They come and go as they choose. Work when they want. They come from all walks of life. There is a streaming link for the video interview on the page. Might be a PITA for dial up to watch, but it was interesting. I won't comment either way on the ladies in the video, and let the viewer decide.
One guy paid $9,000.00 and wait till you see what for. If he is that lonely he should hang out here.
The owner and some of the ladies and some clients are interviewd. One client in particular is made out to be surprising because of who he is....
On the video, they tell you the owner gets half of what the women make. That is something they don't mention in the article. But at $1,700.00 (or more) for an hour,...I suppose that is a good deal for them and the owner.

One thing for sure....for those kind of prices....I won't ever be a client there. Would be interesting to see and walk in and look around and say I had been there though.
Anyway here is the link. It is a 2 page article, but not really that long because of the page set up.

HBO did a whole series on the Bunny Ranch. I think it was called "Cat House"?

They mention that in the video too. I dunno what it was called. I did not have HBO for a long time. Said a lot of the women that go to work or apply for work there, heard about them on the show.

The HBO series was called "Cathouse"

I quit my job there before they started filming, because I was camera shy! 8) :wench:

nope. Have not visited the site. Read the interview. Figure that if they are making 200k a year, 12 of them get together and hire Jimmy. It becomes A Salty Piece of Land redux, how many guys would make the trip? :D

Technically, Vegas is still on your "potential vacation sites" list. Prostitution is illegal in Clark Co. :D

Not sure about that. Just remember hearing that contrary to popular belief about all Nevada being wide-open in that dept., some of the population centers are a little less in need of the revenue stream from the brothels, thus they've made it illegal within their counties.

To go to Vegas? or to make it to Vegas and then get in a car and drive over the county line to Parump (sp?) without your girlfriend finding out, and killing you? :D
