Eddie Guerrero, one of the best perfomers in the WWE was found dead this morning in his hotel room in Minnesota. He will be truly missed. I had the opportunity to meet Eddie awhile back, and he was one of the nicest people you could meet, he made himself available to all his fans, and you could tell he really enjoyed it. Sail on Eddie, sail on.

Lets not make any quick assumptions here, no one knows how he died yet, yes it's true the man had some demons in his life, but out of respect for him and his family, lets try not to make any quick or stupid assumptions on how the man died.

I hope it was just a matter of his body finally giving out after taking such a physical toll from his substance abuse, car wreck and bumps. It would be a shame to hear he had a relapse. I really want to believe he went out knowing that he had truly straightened his life out. It would be nice for his family too.

^^^^SAIL ON^^^^^

Oh ok, didnt mean to sound like I was jumping on you, I just know sometimes on here when someone dies, some people on here like to badmouth them. It's just that I met the man, and you couldn't have met a nicer guy, a truly class act to his fans.

From PWTorch.com:

"Eddie Guerrero was found in his hotel room in Minneapolis with his toothbrush in his mouth. He apparently died while brushing his teeth. At this point, the belief among WWE personnel is that Guerrero died of heart failure."

Sounds like Eddie really did beat the demons. Good for him AND his family.

That is sad news. Its depressing to see how many wrestlers have died young over the last few years. My all-time favorite WWF/E star growing up was the Big Boss Man, who sadly passed away last year at 42 years old.

Im glad he got to wear the title belt and become a main eventer before he passed on. His talent was wasted while he was in WCW

I didn't watch much wrestling the last few years, but every now and again I'd flip by and catch and Eddie Guerrero match. Truly one of the greats.
There was a PPV in KC several years ago, he had a ladder match, one of the best I ever watched.

Sail on Eddie

it is not quick or stupid assumption. They guy used drugs and steroids in the past. They put a major load on your heart. he had a heart attack.

i believe that makes 97 wrestlers who have died under the age of 45 in the last ten years or so. Sure, performance inhancing drugs have no serious side effects. Thanks, Vince

Barry Bonds' next press conference:

"I can prove I'm not using steroids. I'm almost 45, and I'm not dead yet!"
