there's talk that he may be going to Oaktown now. At least that's what Randy Moss is saying. Can Al Davis handle it?
"Oh all the money that e'er I spent, I spent it in good company.
And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

except for the part where TO was on Garcia in SF andLIPH wrote:I hate to sound cynical, but I think his agent might be behind all this nonsense. TO wants to renegotiate the 7 year contract he signed last year. He had a different agent last year, then fired him and hired Drew Rosenhaus. Rosenhaus didn't negotiate the original contract so he's not getting any commission. Look at the chunk of cash he'd get if TO renegotiated and got more than the $49 million he signed for last year.
some of the other stuff you may be right..
But TO showed his SSA long before the new agent showed.

Would it have been TO or Favre that was covering Terry Glenn on October 9?A Balding Fan wrote:TO wants to play with Brett " My team sucks really bad this year" Favre.
TO said---if Favre was the QB in Philly--they would be undefeated.
7 catches, 118 yards, 2 TD.
TO needs to think before he speaks....
Dumb and drunk as I was, you know I would do it all again.

There's no doubt that they hired a mercenary, and they knew that there would be trouble eventually, but they would cut him. What they didn't figure on was that Junior Andy Reid (aka McNabb) would clash with his personality. This whole thing happened before the Super Bowl, and since then every card was mis-played. The fault for this being at this point lies with Reid, McNabb, TO, Rosenhaus to name a few. It's actually been said by Philly Sports reporters that the Birds were close to closing a deal to restructure his contract right before TO got Rosenhaus. Then all things went downhill and it turned into a test to see if they would last to the end of the season.LIPH wrote:Like Mike Lupice wrote in his column in the NY Daily News Sunday - which TO did the Eagles think they were getting?mings wrote:Lest we not forget that the Iggles F******d this whole thing up too.
Everybody's at fault, and now the Birds may not make it back for a long time. Too many people are getting too old and frail.

You see, the Eagles TOTALLY missed their opportunity. There was a simple way that they could have made T.O. a completely happy member of the team for the rest of his career....and they could've made money off of it, too!!!
All they would have to do is simply change the team name to the "Philadelphia Terrell Owenses", market the new uniforms, etc....he'd be the happiest guy ever!!!

I love it. Denver is most likely one of the top landing spots for him, as Dallas is too. Needless to say, I hope Denver picks him up before Dallas. Keep him out of the NFC, especially the division.Pencil Thin wrote:With talk of him possibly coming to Denver, some of the radio stations are organizing "Just Say NO to TO" ralliesToo Funny!

I don't see why there would be talk of Denver picking him up either. We have a great set of receivers. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Hell, we had to cut Jerry Rice because we have so many good receivers.z-man wrote:No way in hell Bill Parcells puts up with TO's BS!mings wrote:I love it. All I'm saying is what I'm hearing (plus what I think and a little jibberish to boot). Shanahan in Denver has been known to put up with borderline personalities and take a risk in order to win. Parcells? Well he already has Keyshawn, and Jerry Jones has said he wants TO. When an owner as meddelsome as he, says that, well you can probably take it to the bank.buffettbride wrote:I don't see why there would be talk of Denver picking him up either. Well, since Denver is winning consistently, there's really no need to add that kind of personality to the bunch. Not everyone looks good wearing orange and blue.mings wrote:All I'm saying is what I'm hearing (plus what I think and a little jibberish to boot). Denver would benefit from TO's tendency to restructure defenses. The only catch is his potential lack of. Plummer has been playing well, but it's no secret that he's not the best QB in the league. How long until TO goes off on him? The same would ring true for Bledsoe and Dallas. He could be that final advantage that puts the Broncos over the edge.buffettbride wrote:Well, since Denver is winning consistently, there's really no need to add that kind of personality to the bunch. TO has proven his ability to put a team over the edge! And not necessarily in a good way.mings wrote: Denver would benefit from TO's tendency to restructure defenses.
