Unless WF, UNC, and UMD tank horribly, they will still make it to the championships. I remember UNC a few years ago making it without that great of a record, it was about 3 years ago or so.tequilatom wrote:How good are the other teams........Wake lost Paul to graduation.......North Carolina lost almost there whole team.......Maryland is ok and the same with GT.....other then Duke who are the other 3 teams in the ACC.aeroparrot wrote:Probably so but the reason why I am saying this is because this is their first year within the ACC and that Conference is one of the most cutthroat conferences. If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

are you forgetting that BC is transitioning out of the Big East? Last time I checked there are some pretty good teams in there. As long as they keep playing well, they'll knock off some of the old ACC teams.aeroparrot wrote:Unless WF, UNC, and UMD tank horribly, they will still make it to the championships. I'm saying that the ACC has always been a stronger conference than the Big East, even with Syracuse and Seton Hall and the likes.MelliJellyBean wrote:are you forgetting that BC is transitioning out of the Big East? ???? UCONN, Providence, Syracuse, West Virginia, Villanova -they are all still ranked teams and even the ones who aren't are still pretty decent teams, capable of knocking off top teams. I'm no BC fan, that's for sure....but there is no arguing that the Big East is undoubtedly the best conference in basketball right now (ACC is a close second)aeroparrot wrote:There were. The only ones left I think are UConn and possibly Providence.MelliJellyBean wrote:are you forgetting that BC is transitioning out of the Big East? Pay heed all who enter, beware of the Phog!
My Jayhawks are young (10 underclassmen) but talented (3 MickeyD's All-Americans out of our 4 freshmen). I think this team will be a lot better in March than they are now! And they are still pretty good now
The Maui Invitational should tell us some things about this team though. With a field that includes; UCONN, Mich. St., Arizona, Gonzaga, Arkansas and Maryland, there will be no easy ones for anyone.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

that's what makes college basketball so much fun!Pencil Thin wrote:There have already been a couple of upsets to start the season. UC Irvine beats Stanford and Hawaii knocks off MSU by 20+There appears to be a lot of parity this year. I could easily see anyone of 15-20 teams that could win it all.

Or a rouge Hawaii program poisons your water, Izzo stopped the investigation because they knew they would never be able to prove it.Pencil Thin wrote:There have already been a couple of upsets to start the season. MSU vs. 'Zags. Should be a great second round game. Make sure you get a collar on Morrison. He looked pretty awesome yesterday.

Shooting 29% against a team of pretty much all underclassmen? I wasn't impressed with a team of "veteran" players for the cats either. KU is young and will only get better. Like I said, no one will want to play us in March, not NovemberAlbatrossFlyer wrote:pretty much now know where kansas standsMangoMan13 wrote:
