The game against Wisconsin was another game where our big guys just slept thru it. Izzo should've bitched about the schedule we got stuck with, yeah we end with a big home stretch but when the majority of your opening games are all on the road you get put in a bad hole to come out of.
Like to see State loose to the Hoosiers on Wed.
yeah I'd like to see State nice and "loose" for the game too. I'd also like to see that university stop p*** me off and let the Izzone do their job. The disneyification of Michigan state is someday gonna be look on as one of the worst things to happen to a Big ten school, when Enrollment drops at the New No-fun school and they see huge cuts from the state of Michigan

Just wait to see how lame the izzone is now, they were actually told they had to have every cheer "approved" and if you forgot your t-shirt you couldnt get into the game even though they paid their 140 dollars for season tickets.

NOVA = no longer undefeated :: Mings = Happy
"Oh all the money that e'er I spent, I spent it in good company.
And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

So essentially, the school is trying to prevent vulgar cheers and wording on clothes? That's legit... even if you don't like it and it's not the same as it used to be.

I'm sure there is still a lot of fun to be had in the Izzone for current students. The Hoosiers don't even have a so-called 'student section'... now that blows!

No they wont let them say anything even funny, it doesnt have to be vulgar, and if you wear your white msu tshirt instead of the 1 "izzone" shirt that looks exactly the same , sorry you cant come in, and they wonder where our home field advantage went. The people who are ok with it are some people I really dont want on camera representing my school, not exactly "faces made for tv"

Big East showdown in Morgantown tonight: WVU vs. Georgtown.

and I'm going!!!!

Currently, these two teams are the 'top' two teams (2-0) in the Big East - I think it's going to be a great matchup.

Let's Go Mountaineers!!Image

Can we say 11-1!!!!!!!!! Tonight's attendance at Thompson-Bowling was 21,612! The Georgia Bullpups found out tonight why we are 11-1 and undefeated in the SEC. Two of GA's starters had no points! GA had 22 turnovers and 6 assists, while UT had 13 turnovers and 13 assists! Defense was amazing tonight, but the fact is that GA just got out-hustled! Hat's off to Bruce Pearl and the Tennessee Volunteers!!!

My Mountaineers beat Georgetown last night! I was sooo happy to be there to see it!

We're now 11-3 and 3-0 in the Big East Conference. Tough schedule awaits and a tough game on Saturday vs. Marquette here in Morgantown! Go Eeers!!

ok I'm bumping this one up! TONS of upsets this week/weekend in College Hoops!

Stanford beats #9 Washington
Minnesota beats #11 Indiana
Seton Hall beats #24 Syracuse
#22 Oklahoma beats #5 Texas
Iowa beats #16 Ohio State
Marshall beats #13 West Virginia
Temple beats #19 Maryland
Michigan beats #21 Wisconsin
Rutgers beats #23 Louisville
California beats #9 Washington
South Carolina beats #4 Florida
Michigan beats #12 Michigan State
Seton Hall beats #14 NC State
Iowa beats #11 Indiana

hmm..looks like Iowa and Seton Hall are on a roll with two upsets. Washington is on a real slump! Luckily my Mountaineers recovered from a devestating in-state loss to Marshall and beat St. John's yesterday and they're the only unbeaten team in the Big East -6-0! .

So lots of upsets! I wonder what the polls are gonna look like after this crazy week!!!

We just keep on going............

LOFTON SCORES 31 AS VOLS WIN SIXTH STRAIGHT BY DOWNING KENTUCKY, 75-67

Image

Not only did we knock off our biggest rival in their own house, but Lofton was the man tonight. Chris Lofton was Mr. Kentucky Basketball his senior year in 2003 and led his team to the state championship. He wanted to play for Kentucky, but they didn't recruit him. He then looked at Louisville, but they weren't interested. He ended up at Tennessee, and we're glad of it. Don't you bet Big Blue Nation is kicking theirselves tonight!

GO VOLS!!!
