I was at the theater Friday night and saw a teaser poster for X-Men 3. I didn't realize it's going to be out in May already! Here's the mutants you can expect to see in the third installment:

Professor X, Wolverine, Storm, Jean Grey (Phoenix), Magneto, Mystique, Beast, Rogue, Iceman, Shadowcat, Angel, Leech, Colossus, Multiple Man, Emma Frost, Juggernaut, Syren, Cyclops, X-Kid, Pyro, and Jubilee.

I thought Halle Barry had left the series?

Nope, from what I've read, she has a much larger role in this installment. Also, three more mutants I've read about are: Avalanche, Cannonball & Gambit who break out of Alcatraz in an early scene.

Just looked it up....she was considering leaving, but she came back after all (most likely because her career has gone down the toilet lately....Catwoman....ugh)

Yeah, Catwoman was not a good move. But speaking of really small roles, supposedly Cyclops is barely in this movie. Interesting.

He also was planning to leave....maybe he came back only to keep the door open for the future?

Not the way the screenplay lays it out... :o There are a LOT of major changes so far in X3

It's been made pretty clear that the Sentinals do NOT appear in this film. The Danger room is there briefly, though. The plot of this movie is about a serum that can undo the mutant genome. It actually affects one of the major characters from the first two films.

Honestly, if the treatment I've read is true, I don't know how excited I am to see it. Wolverine doesn't have too much to do in it, except follow Storm around. :-?

While Wolverine is the most popular character, they can't base every storyline around him....I think if he's not a major player in the plot, they should minimize him. Let the others stand out more. But they have to sell tickets, too, so he'll be in the forefront anyhow.

I agree that every storyline shouldn't be revolving around him, but in this script I've read, his storyline is about how he doesn't like being p***y-whipped by Storm. C'mon, they could come up with something better than that!

Sounds like a lot of Mutants in this movie. Wonder how many are just cameos.

I have enjoyed the X-Men movies, but I'm having trouble with Kelsey Grammer as The Beast.
