You don't know how mad I am that I traded that in. Imagine how much it would be worth today?

Oh, quit trying to sound old, man!
My parents bought me a brand new '67 Valiant when I graduated
from high school, since I was going to have to drive all the way
across town to go to college. My minimalist father made sure it
had no frills except an automatic transmission (girls apparently
aren't bright enough to shift gears and use a clutch). That meant
no radio or A/C! It looked like this only in medium metallic blue.
I really wanted yellow, since that was the trendy color, but...

I drove a 1958 Mirris Minor 1000 convertable. Would run all week at 50 but don't ask for any more.
I still have it garaged. The 948cc engin is rebuilt and runs like champ but I need to rebuild the tranny.
If any of you who are know how to import a photo, she is dark blue with grey top and interior.

My first car was a 1977 Plymouth Gran Fury, powder blue with a white Vinyl top, powder blue interior with shag carpeting. There was a huge CB radio antenna on the back. It was a Sunday car for an older couple down the Jersey shore who moved into a care facility and sold it for peanuts - $100.
Nicknames: The Blue Bomber, The Blue Whale (only for one person)
Sadly the Bomber died an untimely death. I was driving my sister to a friend's house. I was the second car back at a light and when it came time for me to make my left-hand turn, some non-English speaking dork female slammed into me with a Nissan Sentra, and then told me that her passenger was pregnant. Perhaps she shouldn't have been speeding (60+ in a 35 zone) with a 6 month pregnant woman in the car.
