2. What do you dread (or not look forward to) the most about Thanksgiving?

1. What do you look forward to the most about Thanksgiving?
No work. But we're really busy Weds. night and Friday lunch.
2. What do you dread (or not look forward to) the most about Thanksgiving?
Going to the in-laws as a guest, and then getting put to work in the kitchen since I'm the Chef in the family.
3. What are you most thankful for this year?
Great new job!!!
4. What is the most non-traditional Thanksgiving you've ever had?
When I had a job at a restaurant that was going to be open for Chirstmas. I got signed up to work it. I still decided to drive up to the in-laws (2 hour drive) the night before, and had to come back down to be at work by 3:00. I got off work at 8:00 Wednesday, and started driving. Halfway up, I got caught in an unexpected BLIZZARD. It ended up taking 5 hours to get there. Now 1:00 am, all I did was go to bed, wake up and drive back, which took another 5 hours. We did about $500 in sales the entire night....Sooooooooooo worth being open.
5. What will the weather be like for your Thanksgiving this year?
It is 15 degrees with a windchill of -20. Very windy.[/quote]

Cleaning the dishes!
3. What are you most thankful for this year?
The health and happiness of my children and those in my life who are dear to my heart.
4. What is the most non-traditional Thanksgiving you've ever had?
1997- I was living in England and a close friend from my Virgin Island days was travelling to London to a travel writers' conference came to visit. Afterward her conference, she popped up to Warwickshire (where I lived) to visit and do an article on haunted country pubs.
We visited several pubs reputed to be haunted. It was great chatting with the landlords who were all too happy to share their stories.
We wound up in the pub in a neighboring village where we whooped it up w/ the locals. When we got home late to the turkey I cooked earlier, we blew off making any accompaniments other than a pot of noodles!
It was one of my best Thanksgivings ever!
5. What will the weather be like for your Thanksgiving this year?
Sunny, cold and blustery
