Where did I say anyone made me post here? I came in, read the, at the time, 3 page long thread, and voiced my "oinion".

As for any thread I do not care about or I feel does not concern me, or I feel no need to respond to, I ignore it!! It is up to me to choose to respond or post or to read and MY CHOICE to respond to!

When and what was your last post about Jimmy Buffett? ( Something besides you an Heather?) What was the last JB thread that you happen to start?

I posted in the thread El Mojito started yesterday about the best live JB concert CD. I posted in the thread A1ABound started about the possibility of JB doing a concert in Nashville next year. I posted in the thread about the Fenway Park CD/DVD. When I go to a concert I always post in the pre-concert planning thread for that show and usually post a link to pictures I took at the tailgate party after I get my film developed. I post a lot of stuff about Jimmy Buffett. When was the last time YOU posted anything about JB?

As far as the last thread I started about JB, I don't remember when it was. But if you search through BN you'll find very few threads that I've started about anything. Although I did start a thread about The John Mayer Trio in the Related Artists Forum yesterday.

For someone to say, that they are going to quote you, everytime someone post something that is, or could be political ( or perhaps some news item or other comment that may not be popular with them) makes me realize about the lack of independent and original thought

Then again their is only so much that can be said about him or we would not be here.Granted occasionally something new is brought up,How many times do you want to rehash and rehear the same stories over and over and over? As for copying and pasting articles for clarity so there can be no mix up in what the article said and what is just my opinion and the fact not everyone is as lucky as you are and can open links at work or wherever. Often times there are links and photos in the article that do not show up in here. Some people like it and some people don't, as I said /paraphrased elsewhere .."...you can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself..."

LArry you indicated in here about your reason for leaving CoB,O and perhaps not in here but eleswhere you were consistantly negative about politics being discussed in such forum. And you know this as well as I do. My point is where is the line drawn on what can be talked about and what cannot be talked about???
As you noted it is off topic and that should pretty much leave open forum conversations to whatever topic that falls within the boundarys/guidelines of acceptable by the owner....
Ignoring something does not make it go away and only lets it grow in the dark.
As I said elsewhere and I agreed with you and others, that there is no need of a political froum here. But sometimes politics are current events and people need or want to discuss them with their friends.

You would have clearly seen at the top of the article how and where to search / Google so you could find the information for yourself.Either you clearly ignored it or you must think Google is some how in favor of bias towards President Bush.....

BTW,My views may be somewhat conservative but I am not a memeber of any political party... not that it matters. I would love to see ALL of the people from ALL of the parties that break the laws find out and be reminded that the law applies to them as it does to everyone else. Do you only want to see only the Republicans get convicted and Democrats, liberals, left wing socialists, whatever, etc, go free and not have the law applied to them. You insult me with your comment about me paying attention. You are throwing a personal insult regarding my ability to comprehend. The original topic was regarding a teacher being biased agains Bush and giving a vocab quiz which established her bias. Comprehend this - I am a parent.
