Anything by Johnny Mathis - He has such a great Christmas song voice.

"Oh all the money that e'er I spent, I spent it in good company.
And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

Angels We Have Heard on High :D It's so beautiful when sung by a choir.

Not a huge fan of Xmas music all around, though.

Silent Night by Mannheim Steamroller. It gives me chills.

I'll have to check out TSO - I think they are playing around here soon.

My wife LOVES Xmas music. She has Xmas cds in her car stereo year round. I have to put an official ban in place between when the tree comes down (some time in Jan.) and Thanksgiving.

this is a hard one for me. i just counted 34 christmas cd's..not including the old cassettes i have. even though i hate winter, i have to love xmas. since i was born at xmas time, my parents decided to name me carol.

if i want something that isn't done in the "traditional"way, and it can't be jb, it would have to be christmas celebration by the roomful of blues. it's a great dancing song. or any song on the barenaked ladies, barenaked for the holidays.

rock out parrotheads

The title track from A John Prine Christmas is always a fine way to kick off the holiday season.

Other favorites include "Rasta Claus Is Coming To Town" by local (NC) favorites The Amateurs. And there's always "Come On Ye Deadheads" which can be found on one of those Bob Rivers Twisted Christmas CDs.

Good King Wenceslaus (especially the version by Manhattan Transfer)
Do You Hear What I Hear
I Saw Three Ships
There's No Place Like Home For the Holidays (Karen Carpenter's version is the best-what an angelic voice she had)
Merry Christmas To All (Elton John)
Any of the Manheim Steamroller C.D.s

AND I HATE TURNIPS!

Elvis singing Blue Christmas and Santa's Back in town.
