Great string! Good idea and I've really enjoyed alot of things people have put up.
The oldest things I own (outside of the ancient seabed in my yard) are a few coins from La Nuestra Senora de Atocha. I have a couple rings and a necklace from the 1733 Spanish Treasure Fleet that met it's fate along the upper Florida Keys during a hurricane. It would be hard to put an actual date on these items though, but I would imagine early 18th century.

Looks like a motar and pedstal... used for grinding corn, grain, bruising leaves of herbs, etc.RinglingRingling wrote:what is that?springparrot wrote:Opps---I forgot.
