I would love to get together with y'all! It will depend on my work schedule, though. As of now I am scheduled to be off, but I may end up working. The page proofs for the novel are due at the publisher on December 28th so I will need a bit of a break from the paying job and the "hope it's a paying job one day." Keep me posted on a place and times.

Well, see, you don't KNOW Mollie. She twists and turns her Brother upside down...and he GOES...it drives me crazy. She knows he loves her, therefore, he does what ever she says. At 6 years old, having a boy wrapped like that is sad...and she has her Daddy and Papa that way too! So, I've left Jim in charge 3 times so far. The longest was to run to KFC for dinner and when I came home, he was reading her homework to her instead of listening to her read the story!
Another option, and the best so far, is for me and Linda (Citcat) to make the day of it...and that's sounds like the most PHun too!)

I am thinking that you need to slap your son in the back of the head more often. Being that easily-duped by a member of his own family, heaven help him the first girl he meets who decides to separate him from his money and self-esteem.jimolliemom wrote:Well, see, you don't KNOW Mollie. Actually, my hubby said "the first girl that puts it on him"!!!
I think Jim's constant tolerance for his sister's annoying behavior stems from years of wanting a baby sister or brother. Now she's here. He has the "Okay, now what" attitude and gives her whatever she wants. Glad she has a Mamma to say NO!
