Speaking of Tasty Crustaceans...
Has anyone ever purchased the mail order live lobsters?? I'm thinking it might be a good gift for Mom (who loves lobster but doesn't really need anything). I've checked out a couple of websites and it looks pricey but not outrageous...
Thoughts??

What's the worst she can do dear? Sign you up for junk mail? So you get her a Mings of her own, or a cert to Red Lobster... She'll still love you.Quiet and Shy wrote:And just what do you have against my mother???Gulfbreeze wrote:Just get her a gift cert to Red Lobster....there's one just down the road in Skokie...Quiet and Shy wrote:Has anyone ever purchased the mail order live lobsters?? That would truly test the boundaries of "unconditional love"....RinglingRingling wrote:So... you are getting her her own personal Mings, AND the gift cert?Quiet and Shy wrote:Well, that's kinda why I started a separate thread...looking for other crustaceans....RinglingRingling wrote:You could get her a Mings instead...Quiet and Shy wrote:Has anyone ever purchased the mail order live lobsters?? I ate at Legal Seafood in DC and it was wonderful! I had the lobster bake. It was huge! I could barely see over it.
I've heard other people do the mail order lobster thing and they too were very happy. I've never tried it yet. Too expensive. But we'll see.
Let us know if you end up doing this and how it goes with your Ma.
