as for where, there are a bunch of places. Pegasus, Papa's Hideway, the Marquesa, and LaTeDa all come to mind as possible locations.

typo on the how??

where.....i've been there many times....usually at the southern most hotel....i guess the question would be ....do they jack up the rates??? If so then another Hotel/ Motel may have to do.

how to go is to book airfare into FLL, MIA, or EYW. In the case of the former two, you might have to book a car and drive down US 1. How to register is to go to the http://www.phip.com website after the 1st of Jan. and print out the registration form; then mail it in with payment.

Depends on your definition of "Jacking up". Are they higher than the rates you could get in July? yes. Are they FantasyFest rates? no. Are they winter rates? no. But they are probably a bit higher than dead season.

any of the places I suggested, as well as the Lighthouse Court, Chelsea House, or Key Lodge are good. You could always take a chance, and maybe meet the ghosts that live at the Artist's House.

I would like to stay at the LaConche or the Ocean Key House if with others....if staying solo probably Southern Most which is pretty nice.......i'd fly into the Keys and probably out of Lauderdale.....its not a bad ride.......but i don't like doing it both ways. I will be at MOTM 2006. VPHC membership is valid for MOTM. Dues are $16.00 per year. http://vphc.com/signup/ . It's a good club when you are not close to one on land, eh? :D :D :D If you'd like to know more about the club IM or email me brahmafear@comcast.net. Seeing how I just got voted to the Board of Directors, I'd be honored if you joined. 8) 8) 8) 8)
