For those of you in the know....

Can an artist sign with one label for X # of albums... and still put out his own on another label? I suppose anything can be written in a contract.....

You know there is this other song that is one of those that kinda gets into your head. The artist is from Tarpon Springs, FL hmmmmm........thats near BG, Breeze, and Topless.

Now to torture your mind.........BWAAHHHHHAAAAAA!

Bertie Higgins Lyrics - Key Largo Lyrics

Wrapped around each other
Tryin' so har-ard to stay-ay warm
That first cold winter together
Lyin' in each other's arms
Watchin' those old movi-ies
Falling in love so desperately
Honey I-I was your hero
And you were my leading la-ady

We had it all
Just like Bogie and Baca-all
Starring in our own late, late show-ow
Sailin' away to Key Largo

Here's lookin' at you-ou kid
Missin' a-all the things we did
We can find it once again, I know
Just like they did in Key Largo

We had it all (we had it a-all)
Just like Bogie and Baca-all
Starring in our own late, late show-ow
Sailin' away to Key Largo

Here's lookin' at you-ou kid (here's lookin' at you kid)
Missin' a-all the things we did
We can find it once again, I know
Just like they did in Key Largo

We had it all (we had it a-all)
Just like Bogie and Baca-all
Starring in our own late, late show-ow
Sailin' away to Key Largo

Doesn't Bertie spend a lot of time doing shows in Vegas?

I do like his stuff... pirates & poets, only different.

I'm not necessarily "in the know" but I'm aware of several artists that put out albums on the side, Willie Nelson being a prime example. Just take a look at his discography at http://www.allmusic.com

Thats it.... he has 9 now albums tho.... I am not sure any reached the magnitude of that song!
nope. "Key Largo" is pretty much what keeps the rent paid.

Jimmy was in Nashville for a short period of time yesterday...
