I know my brother in law and his friends would do it for a pizza and beer. Trust me, with my back, I'm not running very far very fast at all.sunseeker wrote:lots of treats...hamburger....dress in black......
I think you guys are actually talking me into 'dognapping'
Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all..

That really sucks. In Florida, a dog left outside MUST have at least a shelter with 3 walls and a roof, plus access to fresh water...otherwise it's animal abuse.sy wrote:As long and hard as I have thought about that, I know they are the typical people that would love a chance to sue me for something. I've talked to the local shelters a couple of times and it's a catch 22 of anything that can be done because the dog is not a threat and does not 'appear' to be abused.
.
Sounds like a law needs to be looked at in PA

as far as I've read, the same law applies in PA, but I don't consider the too-small 'doghouse' and the frozen bowl of water adequate for him at all.IrishG wrote:That really sucks. In the last 2 weeks I've seen a guy walking his 2 dogs twice while I was walking back to Penn Station at night. They're little yappy, rat-like dogs and they were both wearing coats. With fur collars. There's something wrong about a dog wearing a coat with a fur collar - it could be a relative.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

They're not dogs, they're rats with gland problems. Nothing under 40 pounds can be considered a dog. And absolutely nothing wearing a sweater can be a dog!LIPH wrote:In the last 2 weeks I've seen a guy walking his 2 dogs twice while I was walking back to Penn Station at night. NOTM Dec 2005
"Oh all the money that e'er I spent, I spent it in good company.
And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"
