If it goes down, I will be far away from my house and with many other people who can vouch for my whereabouts

Because I know full well I will be their first suspect. I also fully expect one of them to be harassing me when I get home if they got fined last night

Fortunately hubby should be back from pittsburgh in the next hour. He's far less classy when it comes to confronting the neighbors.

you could always say you were visiting your second cousin once removed in NC....I don't have nay problems lying...

I like that. That's good.

Hubby also wonders if they wouldn't just give up the dog if I went over and offered them 50$.

Though it would look mighty suspicious if I did that, they said no, and the dog up and disappeared.
