This just infuriates me
There is a dog two houses down from me that I honestly don't think I've ever not seen sitting in the front yard. It is currently 9 degrees out and it is bitterly cold. Every station is saying how to check on the elderly and make sure animals are inside.
I go outside to have a quick smoke, and sure enough, the poor dog is sitting in the middle of the yard, crying. It's not bad enough that it's frigid outside, but the ground is still covered in ice and snow that hasn't melted.
I just called the police. Damned people. Just p*sses me off as to why they even have a dog.
Idiots.
Sorry......just had to rant while I'm waiting for the police.

Kinda makes you want them to have to sit bare-assed on the ice in their own yard for a while. Nitwits!
BTW - as mysteriously as your pics disappeared earlier, they have now re-appeared. And just as yummy as I remembered!

Sad part is I know full well they'll get fined like they did in the summer. They'll yank the dog into the garage for the evening, and he'll be out in the yard again first thing tomorrow
Idiots....damned idiots.

Oh trust me, I do. They've been fined three times in the last year that I know of (twice I was responsible). All of the cops in our township actually live in our development, so they know. It's just ridiculous. The woman is obviously the one who doesn't want the dog in the house because I've heard her screaming about the 'filthy mutt' numerous times. I think the dog was bought for the child for christmas two years ago and the kid lost interest in the dog, so it was relegated outside and has been there ever since. The first time was a warning, the second was a 50.00 fine, and the third was 200.00. This time should be 500.00. Common sense would just dictate that you give the dog to the humane society and end the hassle.
The cops are down there talking to them and i can hear her arguing with the cop (I'm sitting on my porch. I love wireless

). Idiot.
I'm just glad I know full well they know it's me.

Yes, they need to sign the dog over.
And a family will adopt it that will love it.

I kinda feel so bad for the poor dog. My dog basically has her own bedroom.

The police ought to make the owners spend a night outside.
If you think you're worthy of animal ownership, then you have to be prepared to give
practically all the care you would give to another child

I asked the township once if they could seize the dog, and they can only seize it if it poses a threat to those around it. The dog is as clean as one can be for living in a yard, and does not appear to be emaciated or blatantly mistreated (because they leave a bag of open dog food in the backyard

), so the humane society can't seize the dog either.
*sigh* Why can't I have normal, decent neighbors. I just have idiots living around me.
If it was even a long haired dog, I might not be SO p*ssed off.
