I agree, but since all but the last 3 happened before I was born I would be a little clueless.

First Male Package - Robin
Posted: December 14, 2005 10:54 am
by Sam
First FEMALE Rape scene was aired in 1974 involving Linda Blair in "Born Innocent"
First use of the word Bastard :
1974 Meg Dale (Tudi Wiggins) calls her son Ben (Christopher Reeve) a "bastard" on the soap opera Love of Life, the first time a profanity was spoken on American daytime television.
First male package.... perhaps in 1974 on How to Survive a Marriage debuts in a 90-minute special on NBC daytime. The episode shows the first nudity (which was merely simulated and not seen) on American daytime television.
There is a rumor that John Ritter testicles were exposed in an episode of Three's Company but it not true...

land_shark3 wrote:Here is a little television trivia for you this morning. Can you name the show and/or date the first time that each of these things happened? BTW, I've made it easier and put them all in chronological order.

Mary Kay and Johnny (1947) Sam
2.) First toilet on television -
Leave It To Beaver (10/4/57) (even though they only showed the tank) Sam
3.) First exposed boobies (accidental and intended)
accidental -
Jayne Mansfield (1957) Sy
intended -
PBS's Steambath (5/4/73) (Valarie Perrine) Sy Out of order b/c of the "accidental"
4.) First time the word "hell" was used
5.) First interracial kiss -

6.) First time the phrase "G** D***" was used
7.) First abortion
8.) First rape scene
9.) First time the word "bast***" was used
10.) First reoccurring gay character -

11.) First time the word "f***" was used -

12.) First male package
13.) First lesb*** kiss
(BTW, why is the lez word edited?) -
LA Law (2/7/91) Sam

I found all of these on one website. I cannot guarantee their validity, but if you guess the same as the website I'll let you know.
Shouldn't you put complete answers up here? Like it was Charles Rocket who said the f-word on SNL (he did say it to Charlene Tilton, but this makes it sound like she said it). (what was the gay character's name? Who played him? What characters/actresses in that ------- kiss?
Details, please. I'm big on trivia, but apparently lacking in my TV trivia, so I want the whole answer.

Partial credit.
A representative for Nickelodeon was quoted as confirming "Yes, his scrotum falls out of his shorts," and marveled that the episode had been run so many times without anyone's noticing the blooper. Nickelodeon also said it would snip the offending bit from future repeats.
The reason Nickelodeon is confirming is because it was not noticed until shown on replays during Nick-at-Night
There will be a photo when I post the website.

I did. Mine was the first response but somehow I didn't get credit for the f-word answer.

First Couple to Sleep in One Bed
In the 1960s, television audiences were invited to meet the Flintstones, a stone-age couple so modern that they actually slept under the same sheets.

I could see G-D being used on All in the Family, and Hell on The Brady Bunch. But The Brady Bunch didn't start until 1969, so maybe not.

Hell on Dick Van Dyke maybe? I fell like Mary Tyler moore might have said it to much embarrassment.

I'm just going to keep guessing. Leave it to Beaver?

Leave It To Beaver was the first show to talk about sex a lot. June used to say, almost every day, "Ward, don't you think you were a little hard on the beaver last night."
