Delaney Talks to Statues on DC's 104.1
I guess I forgot about the request a thon that I posted a few weeks back. On my way home from work I here Delaney Talks to Statues when I turn the radio on. Really freaked me out, I thought my cd or tape player was doing something funny. Is the guy that requested it out there somewhere?

Well I named my daughter Delaney because it is a beautiful name...but I had never heard it until that song. We held it for 7 years waiting to name our girl that and thankfully we had a daughter and got the chance!!I'd love to hear it live, too. I named my daughter Delaney after that song.
Even my son calls that song "Sissy's song"...
Spending 24/7 in a Key West state of mind......
It was the opposite for me...I hadn't really heard of that name (at least not consciously) until that song. I liked the name anyway, but more than anything, I loved what the song represented and why JB wrote it.SchoonerWharf wrote:Well I named my daughter Delaney because it is a beautiful name...but I had never heard it until that song. We weren't expecting a daughter and thus hadn't decided on a girls name, so when she popped out, we had to make a game-time decision!!
