Yep love sue grafton. I've read all her stuff but the most recent one. I went to borders with a gift card and had a tough time picking two books. I was torn because everybody including SG have new books out. I went with Elizabeth Peters new one and PD James new one. I also like Janet Evanovich, Elizabeth George and Martha Grimes. So you like sue grafton
Colin Dexter's Inspector Morse was a big favorite but he's no longer writing.

Since no one has posted any lists I hope you don't mind me asking.
Daughter has just printed out her reading list for English Class, she has already bought some books, and will get some at the library as well, but if anyone would like to get rid of any of the following, either to be returned or forwarded on PM me please
She's looking for
Moonstone by Collins
Case of the Stuttering Bishop by Gardner
Case of the One-eyed Witness also by Gardner
Taste for Death (Rack Size) by James
Darkness, take my Hand by Lehane
Farewell, My Lovely (Trade ED) by Chandler
Big Sleep (Trade Ed) by Chandler
Crimson Joy by Parker
D is for Deadbeat, by Grafton
A is for Alibi by Grafton
and Chill by MacDonald
If anyone can help us out great, if not,........ that's why we have libraries. Thanks.

i'll look around. That's an interesting reading list. I wish I could have covered alot of those titles in hs english.
At one time I've read all of PD James and Sue Grafton's books. Right now I'm reading the latest PD James. A Taste for Death is a bit gorey. What do you mean by Rack size. Is that the larger paperback edition. If so I definitely won't have it. I might even have a Chandler and a Parker. Not sure as I tend to trade things in alot at the local used book store unless it's a series I collect.

These are for her College class, not HS
I just figure if she can borrow from someone here, that'll give her more time to enjoy the books rather than rushing thru them to return them to the library on time, and it will save her a few $ by not having to purchase them. Thanks again.

Still sounds like a cool class. If she can't get the books here you should help her to get them used online. My college kids get all their books used online. They go to yahoo or ebay. There are other used college book sites as well.
