Anyone participate?
(Florida doesn't count.... the water has to actually be COLD.

In Newport, RI, the swim is on New Years Day at high noon, and it's a fundraiser for a sick child.

Have been swimming off the ice in Michigan at Christmas when I was in college just because it had to be done.

Once.... on Long Island ......Hampton Bays when I was a teenager. Never again... there is no logic in repeating this act!
And the water in my pool is freezing ...btw!!!! If its under 80 its freezing.....

Some guys I know are doing the one for the Fisherman's Memorial Fund (or whatever its called)...I always say, hey I'll do it once, but I have yet to find the nerve
