I should rock at both of them. I write software manuals (user guides, install guides, sys admin guides) and build Web sites for a living, so it will really be more a refresher of current practices of what I do now.

Geography should be no problemo as well, but I'm sure I'll have an assignment here and there that I'll enlist BNrs for help.

Since I'm planning on going into more advertising/PR type work, though, I think mings is makin' a good point about skipping the technical writing and take creative writing.

I've lost out on jobs because I only had creative writing experience. The techno is a good idea

I'm exactly the opposite. I have TONS of experience in the technical realm and very little in the creative. I've kinda pigeonholed myself in IT and I WANT OUT!!!
