Capt. we did come over to visit. Check the cooler on your back porch, we drank all the beer. :lol: :lol: :lol:
I stand corrected... this is even more inconsiderate... :D
Hey, we left the cans so he could recycle and get the cash. And I think my dog left a gift too. :oops:

the rudest would have been to call him, get him over to Fremont (like there is a reason to go there any other time), and then go to his house and drain his cooler.. :D

PartofthePhlock wrote:We got to Vickery and back with no problems. Ended up going up I-71 and US-23 etc. Not much traffic, but then when you leave at 6am most folks are still in bed. Roads were good, about a foot of snow in the ditches but none on the road. We were surprised at the size of the rivers and flooding. Turns out there was no heat on the passenger side of the truck so I passed on all the planned "fun" stops (i.e. Margaritaville and shopping) to get back home where it was warm. However we did stop at a little place called "Little Tavern on the Prarie", I think it was in Fremont, and had some delicious Lake Erie Perch for lunch. There were plenty of TV's with the football and a good size card game going at this stop.

All in all it was a fun trip, even if we didn't get to Margaritaville. :(
Didn't know there were 2 M'ville so we will need to plan a SPRING trip to the lake.
a) Fremont is pretty close to Capt. Flock's neighbourhood if I remember right;
b) Spring? heck, just head north for Put-In-Bay's Phlocking a day early.. ;D
Not real sure where womp-a-cow-net-ta is but I like the name. Capt. you could have told us where you lived I would have gladly stopped by to warm my toes by your fireplace.......and drink all your beer.

74 days until spring!!!

Don't put ideas in my head. I like Capt. don't want to wear out my welcome I need to stop by for more beer on the way up to meet Shakerofsalt.

Depends... looks like the last weekend in January might be a good day-set for SoS to make a run down to CMH... and the Cincy crew to come up... beyond that, it gets a little hazy until the end of Feb.

CBiP. at least for lunch. We have a hockey game to go to Saturday night. And Capt. P is going to be presiding over the grills that weekend.

So, by going to that bar, I'm guessing that you met some of Fremont's "finest". :roll:

Only when we are ice fishing! Any other time you risk losing them in the ice. Plus, we need a lot more than six packs. :lol:

Well, we used to brew our own, but have been too busy the last couple of years. We got tired of messing around with bottles, so we used 2 liters. :oops:
