Why Yes, Yes he does. In fact, Jimmy himself is secretly a dink, and he gave me a warm welcome into the club.nycparrothead wrote:Does Jimmy know that you're such a dink?On The Edge wrote:I have several. All of my Buffett books were signed in person, and I have two polaroid pictures of me and Jimmy in Berkley CA that he signed. I gave him a Tie Dye shirt that I bought from a vendor on Telegraph Avenue. It was a few days after Jerry Garcia died. Jimmy wore it the next night at the San Jose show. I also have a few of my many set lists that were signed by Jimmy.
That is how I got my signed box set from him on stage during Stumpo el Bando, and he even paid for my beer.

The "Mrs" is no longer around but it still hangs in my office.
That was pretty darn nice of him!

Yeah, Actually it is a funny story, I have a picture of us both signing an item for each other. I am signing the shirt I gave him, while he is signing the polaroids taken of us. He was very laid back and cool, as he has been everytime I've gotten to meet him.carolinagirl wrote:Did you autograph it?On The Edge wrote:I have several. "Oh all the money that e'er I spent, I spent it in good company.
And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

I was lucky enough to work with the security personnel, Charelston & co., when he was in Chicago for the Wrigley field shows. I got an autograph picture personalized to me and in addition I got to meet the man himself. Was a great weekend. My wife went out and got it framed for me right away along with the security pass that I was given.
