i just found out about this and with a new concert season coming, it's seems us BNer's who travel to see some shows might be able to save big bucks.
my brother, on christmas eve got a flight to orlando for $38.. i haven't seen it go that low since, but you get new dings everyday.
once you see the concert schedule come up, start looking for airfares. There is no spyware, and no pop ups either.. i just hope it his helps you see a show (or visit someone) that you might not have been able to do.. happy dinging..
Southwest is AWESOME. I'm so glad they are flying to/from Denver now (only to Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Chicago) but it's definitely a start!!! RT Denver/Chicago is just under $180. WOW!

I bet you could connect from their Chicago hub to other places in the country on SWA..

Sign up for Travelzoo's top 20 deals and you get emails whenever they get great deals, which is once or twice a week. Every week there are deals to fly around the country for $100 or less, always have plenty of choices.
The best deal for my area this weak was flying form Orlando to Vegas for like $40 (each way)

tell them about net fares also. usually you can leave on saturday and come back monday or tuesday. depending on where you are, and where you want to go, the fare can be reasonable. also if you have never looked at bestfares.com, check them out.
There's tons of these websites out there. The one I've been using the most is webflyer.com. They update on Wednesday afternoons for domestic, Monday afternoons for overseas flights. Most of it is for travel that coming weekend. But not always. They also have deals on cars and hotels too.

Southwest has pretty decent prices but one of the things I miss the most about being in Europe is how cheap flying is. I could fly from my town in Ireland to either London, Paris, Scotland, Italy and other places for ONE CENT! And the planes were normal size and just as nice as any Ive taken in America. After taxes and whatnot I would have roundtrip weekend trips to almost any coutry in Europe for around $15.
If you are ever in Europe I HIGHLY recommend using these airlines like RyanAir to get from place to place. You might think it is too good to be true but it is legit. Check out ryanair.com now and you can see that almost every flight right now is actually free. I dont know how they keep it so cheap but I wont ask questions.
