If you are looking for an Island feel at a smaller price, check out Caribbean Beach! It has the tropical feel without the prices of OKW or the Polynesian.
Would that also have easy access to the parks?
All the Disney resorts have bus service to all the parks.
busses s***
Maybe, but it keeps you from driving and parking and walking

We'll be there the first week of April (Spring Break for the 'keets).

Margaritaville, Hilo Hatties and Ron Jons are always must do's when we " go back home". 8) 8) 8)
...But the right word at the right time may get me a little hug....

Last time I was there they had their trivia competition, the bar versus the tables. The "captain" of the tables was this kid who was 10. The kid just didn't know what to make of it at first, but really got into....funny stuff

I have owned about 15 Disney Books over the years and have found the PassPorter to be the best... it even comes with room in the back for a journal of your trip!
And since I have been raving about this book, I figured I should pass this along since I just found it:
GET A 2004 PASSPORTER FOR A BUCK!
http://www.passporterstore.com/store/on ... orter.aspx

happy reading ºoº

Oops... I've had a bad year so far medically....

We bumped our trip from Spring Break to Thanksgiving week.

Staying at Pop Culture
Park Hopper passes
Should we get the meal thingy?
You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say
I’m still gliding as I go flying down this endless wave

Are you talking about Character meals, or a meal plan?

Pop Culture is like a newer version of All star so it's fine. For those travelign with a family and not planning on spending much time in the room or rather not spend lots of dough it's a fine choice....
