And all this time you thought I was just another pretty face?
I know that was meant in humor...but you brought up a good point. I have no clue what you look like and you probably don't know know what I look like...we just interact and like/dislike(?) eachother for what we say...not what we look like.
My point? I didn't dislike Lisa because of her looks....
even tho she was really a 50 year old guy named Irving in drag? :D

don't knock Irving. You enjoyed his presence/presents, in addition to Lisa's.

rsgeist wrote:Dr. Phil explains the Lisa G. phenomenon:

The level of interest in Lisa G. seems to have been generally, although not entirely, delineated along gender lines. Most of the females on the board found her tasteless and crude while the males found her interesting and amusing. While they will probably vehemently deny it, the ladies' displeasure was at least partially due to the high level of attention Ms. G. garnered during her brief appearance. For the gentlemen, the appeal was decidedly more carnal than intellectual.

The phenomenon itself can be likened to a situation where a provocatively attired female stranger enters a cocktail party and begins flirting with the male guests. The males will, of course, be drawn like moths to a flame, fascinated by the appealing new arrival. Reacting like so many Pavlovian canines, the responses will include panting, drooling, bulging eyes as well as other areas south of the beltline. On the distaff side, the reaction will likely be a gathering of the female guests during which various disparaging comments will be offered regarding the interloper's appearance, taste and general moral character.

For all we know, Lisa G. was a 50 year-old man named Irving and BN was his laboratory. Perhaps we were his lab rats, either searching frantically for the cheese at the end of the maze or ignoring it entirely as a silly exercise unworthy of any self-respecting rat. We never did find the cheese but the "phenomenon" certainly sparked a lot of conversation - either with Lisa G. or about her.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled idiot.
I'll say one thing about the whole situation..... I learned a lot about some of the males (yes, I said "males," not "men") on Buffettnews.......

Well, there's an old saying: "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach." The truth is that the gateway is a bit further south and activating the gateway disengages the circuitry to the brain.

Pretty nice Mings. I went to my girlfriends party across town. Maybe about 10-15 people. How was yours?

We're going to need more data which means Lisa is going to have to come back and be herself.
