WOW!! Is that a long haired Jack Russell?

I didn't know there were long haired JRussell's...

There are three kinds of Jack coats. Smooth (think Eddie on Fraser), Broken, which is sparsely longish, and Rough, which is what Dixie's coat is. We specifically requested a Rough Coat, and look what we got! :D

I love the rough coats. Rudy - one of the exes dogs is a rough coat. He's not that bushy thou.

I have a Jack Russel "Lady" who thinks she is a "people", and she has her pet mutt (Pomeranian/Border collie mix) "Molly". They are both great dogs. One word of warning for a non-dog person, make sure you keep the dog knowing they are a dog and not a "people". Once they think they are a "people", they will walk all over you like a door mat...

Well, he sits on the couch like people. Paws on the ground and butt on the couch. He has his own bedroom though. :lol:
