There are three kinds of Jack coats. Smooth (think Eddie on Fraser), Broken, which is sparsely longish, and Rough, which is what Dixie's coat is. We specifically requested a Rough Coat, and look what we got!Moonie wrote:WOW!! Is that a long haired Jack Russell?
I didn't know there were long haired JRussell's...

I have a Jack Russel "Lady" who thinks she is a "people", and she has her pet mutt (Pomeranian/Border collie mix) "Molly". They are both great dogs. One word of warning for a non-dog person, make sure you keep the dog knowing they are a dog and not a "people". Once they think they are a "people", they will walk all over you like a door mat...

Now, he is probably big enough that if he wants the couch or bed, there just is no sharing...buffettbride wrote:Our good friends have a Great Dane who thinks he is people. :otjtryon wrote:I have a Jack Russel "Lady" who thinks she is a "people", and she has her pet mutt (Pomeranian/Border collie mix) "Molly". Well, he sits on the couch like people. Paws on the ground and butt on the couch. He has his own bedroom though.tjtryon wrote:Now, he is probably big enough that if he wants the couch or bed, there just is no sharing...buffettbride wrote:Our good friends have a Great Dane who thinks he is people.tjtryon wrote:I have a Jack Russel "Lady" who thinks she is a "people", and she has her pet mutt (Pomeranian/Border collie mix) "Molly". Petunia, huh? How'd a sturdy man such of yourself give such a girly name to a dog?
