Growing up my dad always tried to name my little sisters dolls Petunia, it was the closest thing to punishment she ever got. So one day after I got out of school my senior year of highschool I decided I needed a dog so I went out and bought her without informing my parents of my decision. So I decided the best way to keep her would be to give her an automatic connecting with my dad, thus the name. :lol:

My pup is a 14 year old Golden Retriever... he is a love. Doesnt bark... evidentialy by choice as we have heard him bark 5 times in his life! He is a big attention hound.... if you come over you'll see why.....

Ok...

Those dogs are just too stinkin' cute.

I had a Boston Terrier...Maxx...and an Aussie Cattle Dog..Maggie..(but her real name was Magnolia.. :lol: )

but I think I might need a puggle..... 8)

Dude, if you're getting a puppy, get one while you're still in an apartment and don't care if it s#!ts on your carpet. Or eats your drywall, or scratches your doors.

We're moving someplace warm in Oct. 2007- that would be mean to a big ball of fur like that! (I really wanted a Great Pyrenees or a Bernie!)

Greater Swiss Mountain dogs are very similar and short-haired. :wink:

One and a half here....

A Rhodesian Ridgeback/Retreiver mix ( mammoth dog but unbelievably smart) that's mine and a little Beagle ( that I consider a half because she lives with an Ex-GF who got her in the "divorce"). :)
