Growing up my dad always tried to name my little sisters dolls Petunia, it was the closest thing to punishment she ever got. So one day after I got out of school my senior year of highschool I decided I needed a dog so I went out and bought her without informing my parents of my decision. So I decided the best way to keep her would be to give her an automatic connecting with my dad, thus the name.buffettbride wrote:Ohhh man!!!!!thegoatgod wrote:buffettbride wrote:Ok Tyler. Petunia, huh? How'd a sturdy man such of yourself give such a girly name to a dog?

Dude, if you're getting a puppy, get one while you're still in an apartment and don't care if it s#!ts on your carpet. Or eats your drywall, or scratches your doors.Southern Monkey wrote:Not gonna get one till we move into the house.. I'm not sure if I'm more excited about the actual house or getting the dog!!

We're deciding between a Chocolate Lab, Labradoodle, GoldenDoodle or possibly a silver or charcoal lab (we hadn't heard of them before, but if we can keep all of the animal hair one color, that's great!).buffettbride wrote:I want a Labradoodle. Same problem.

I would suggest a Bernese Mountain dog, but the hair is most definitely NOT the same color.Coconuts wrote:We're deciding between a Chocolate Lab, Labradoodle, GoldenDoodle or possibly a silver or charcoal lab (we hadn't heard of them before, but if we can keep all of the animal hair one color, that's great!).buffettbride wrote:I want a Labradoodle. We're moving someplace warm in Oct. 2007- that would be mean to a big ball of fur like that! Greater Swiss Mountain dogs are very similar and short-haired.Coconuts wrote:We're moving someplace warm in Oct. 2007- that would be mean to a big ball of fur like that!
