as bad as we played the first quarter it was (this is SO hard to say) a well deserved victory.

Hey Melli- wasn't someone around here complaining when the bowl pairings were announced that WV didn't belong in the Sugar bowl with Georgia?

`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

CONGRATS from another UGA fan. :D
As much as I hated those first 16 minutes, I think that was a great wake up call. NEVER under estimate the other team.

I surely didn't. Like the UGA announcer said (who is 83 and called UGA football for 40+ years) "I was worried about it". I didn't expect UGA to lay down and act like they weren't there but that was typical of their playing. Look back at their two losses.

it was! even bigger than playing for the national championship vs. Notre Dame at the Fiesta Bowl in 1988 - back when we had major harris.

I'm telling you...Pat White is much quicker than major harris!

oh by the way...here is a very interesting article someone posted on the ESPN board: http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2005 ... _Sugar.htm

Ok So never in WVU history have we ever experienced such success in FOOTBALL and Basketball!!! It's about darn time! :P

WVU is on a 12 game win streak and now is #9 (AP) and #13 (coaches). They beat UCLA in their house this past weekend! I'm just gonna brag a little bit..this squad plays like a TEAM!!! Coach John Beilein is a darn good coach! I hope they keep up the great work.

I HEART Mike Gansey & the Mountaineers!
