And nobody suggested We're Having A Party? Either Sam Cooke or Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes.
Rod Stewart also turns in a good version of this on his Unplugged...but Seated album.

Speaking just for myself I can't say I've thought of "Cowboy in the Jungle" or "West Nashville Ballroom Gown" as party songs.
that's right Jah Keep speaking for

and to yourself
Not necessarily, I just don't see how either of those tracks (especially "West Nashville Ballroom Gown") could be considered "party" songs. As much as I love it, I could only imagine what a downer "West Nashville Ballroom Gown" would be if someone put that on at a party.

I was thinking of the part where the whole crowd could yell
SO *@#! All those ........... :D :D

WAIT while we are at it

Up against the Wall Redneck.... :D

Volcano Live version / maybe put on the Fenway Live CD and start drinking yourself. :pirate: That's what I normally do and Mrs. gets pretty annoyed.

If its a beach / island theme, look for a band called Inner Circle. They are a reggae band and pretty good.... found them in Hawaii.
