Ask Jimmy....??

Post by Quiet and Shy »

I'm sure many of you remember this... last year M'ville had a page where we were to ask Jimmy questions that bothered us so. I submitted a couple; did anyone else toss in questions? I noticed several months ago that the Ask Jimmy web page had disappeared...any thoughts on when, where and how we might see replies?

Well, if you've seen some of my handywork long ago in the BNer of the Day threads, you can imagine how many questions I submitted to Ask Jimmy!

I too, often wonder when, or if, they'll ever be published. Especially since it was in conjunction with the 20th Anniversary year, which has come to a close.

I sent a letter last year to see if they would donate anything to our charity golf tournament, and I got no response :( It was sorta last minute though. I am going to send another letter this year, but like send it in now, for October...how long did it take for a response?

Please don't think I'm rubbing this in. I sent a letter to him to Key West. In the letter I told him of our past christmas and what it was like. I also told him I was replaced with reading the night before christmas to my kids. They aways wanted to here from Christmas Island. I also told him about the generational gap he bridge in my family my Grandmother all the way to my kids listened to His music and loved it. Thats the just of the letter. Oh yeah I also asked at the begining if the letter could reach his hands. I also said it at the end also.
LIke I said not more than 2 weeks after that, We thought it never gor to him and one day in our mail box that was a package to me from Margaritaville. My wife wanted to crown be because she thought I bought something without telling her. We opened it up and inside was the License To Chill CD (hand picked) and the new Coconut Telegraph and an autograph picture. It wasn't a generic picture it was adress to my wife and me and it had a message for us.
Please don't think I'm rubbing this in, I'm not trying to. Anybe if you lable the letter something like "I hope this finds its way to Mr. Buffetts hands. It might. Who knows, can't hurt

Well, maybe it'll be a continuing theme in this year's Coconut Telegraphs...kinda like last year covered the 20 years of M'ville...?

I submitted a question too. I asked him now that he has done pretty much everything, What is the thing he would like to do most?

I was also wondering if they were ever going to do anything with those questions.
