Stop by your local brewery and hoist a pint in honor of Ben Franklin's 300th birthday.
Celebrate the 300th anniversary of Benjamin Franklin’s birth on January 17, 2006 by hoisting a specially brewed pint of Poor Richard’s Ale at a brewery near you.

September 2005— two award-winning brewers with ancestral ties to Benjamin Franklin joined with the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary Commission and others to select a recipe for Poor Richard’s Ale—a beer for Americans nationwide to hoist in January 2006 to celebrate.

There are a lot of breweries from Colorado that participate in the GABF.

When you're here for LDOL we might do some advance scouting. 8)

As long as you toast Ben on his birthday,
any brew will do!
