davesnik, I agree with you 100%. The Colts do indeed have a great organization, and Tony Dungy is a class act through and through. Congrats on a great season. BTW...if you guys would have won today, I would have been rooting for the Colts to win it all...no offense to Bronco fans. :D

Here's my final take on the Colts season, I saw every game, every play:

I'm p***. Sure, it was a great season. 13-0. They won NOTHING. Bye Week. They won NOTHING. Home field. They won NOTHING.

Let's recap the Manning era:

1999: 13-3, home field, lost to Tennessee.

2000: Vandy misses in OT, lose to Miami

2002: 41-0 to the Jets

2003, 2004, lost to the Patriots.

2005 Vandy misses AGAIN.

If I never see this jackass kick for the Colts again, fine with me. He shoots his mouth off every year, well, look who blew 2 playoff wins by missing field goals, and today wasn't even CLOSE.

So, 13-0, 0-13, all adds up to the same old story, they won NOTHING AGAIN.

What happens now? Wayne is a free agent, James is probably on the way out. This was the time, this was the season.

When do the tour dates come out? :D

Absolutely. After showing up late and all the gifts, they did so many things poorly. And what about that last 3rd down call that almost ended up as an interception? It was cocky and greedy to not just go for some more yards...set your kicker up for success vs. failure. Yeah, he missed the kick, but this was a team loss if there ever was one (e.g. Peyton's inaccurate passes, poor blocking, Glenn's false start that took 4 points off the board, sieve defense, etc.) And Pittsburgh played like they really wanted the game. The Colts just never really looked sharp since almost giving it away in the 4th quarter of the J'ville game. Oh well....pitchers and catchers.....

Don't forget the media will continue to dub Manning a great regular season quarterback who can't lead his team to the Super Bowl.

No doubt. And today that tag might have been earned. Many players had a bad day, including Peyton. And whoever called that last 3rd down play...totally bonehead.

Yep. I agree. Did you hear some of his comments in his press conference? He was basically blaming his offensive line for his ineptitude. I am watching the "Sports Final" type show on Channel 4 right now and the guy said that Manning just left his O-Line under the bus because Manning was the guy who was calling out the blocking schemes by pointing out the defenders.

Great game by the Steelers, especially the defense. Polamalu got robbed on that replay challenge.

It looked like Eli Manning snuck into the Colts locker room and stole Peyton's uniform. He really came up small again in a big game, he was awful.

He looked like he had been run over by a train in that press conference didnt he? And I thought the comment....while seemly true... was a bit uncalled for.

Congrats to the Steelers... Good luck next week!

NFL officiating office comes out with statement.......that the interception should of been a interception and not reversed.......I'm sure a few refs got reprimanded for some of the worse officiating I've seen in some time!!

I think all four officiating crews for this past weekend's games should be reprimanded.

I couldn't agree more. I think, IMHO, that they need to go back to ref school or fired. So many bad/non calls. If I did my job that poorly, I'd be fired.
