Congratulations Liz! I added a section for you at the top of page 1 :)
I understand you wanting to be surprised, but I don't think I could stand not knowing.
Looks like you're going to have your hands full - what does Kyle think about it?

Well, Kyle points to my belly, says "baby" and kisses my belly, but really he has no concept of what that really means! But he really loves babies (he is around them at my sister-in-law's who watches him during the week) so let's hope he loves this baby!

As for the surprise thing, we didn't find out with Kyle either so we have all the gender neutral stuff already. But we will need a lot of new clothes if this one is a girl! It's a great surprise!

Congratulations to you and Mrs. Play too!

Liz

That's awesome! Our first 2 are right at 2 years apart, and that's the way it was for us.
You're only a couple of weeks behind Debbie - can you feel the baby moving yet?

Funny you should ask...I just started feeling the baby move (at least consistently) yesterday! It's such a weird but wonderful feeling! :D

So how old are your older boys? How are they adjusting to the new brother on the way?

That's cool!

Our boys are 4 and 6 now, turning 5 and 7 in October (their birthdays are only 4 days apart). They're excited about the baby and they helped us pick out stuff for the baby registry.
I think our 4 year old finally accepted that it's going to be a boy and not a girl - he kept telling us the doctors were wrong and they didn't know everything

Hmmm - maybe it's not a coincidence that all 3 of our kids were conceived in December or January...

I ALMOST had Jimmy on Labor Day and I have a friend who DID have her daughter on that day!
I just found this thread. Congrats to all the parents to be! My young-ins were very difficult to come by and I spent my whole pregnancy with both of them, terrified. It is so nice to see a happy mommy-to-be.

Having not taken the time to read all 17 pages...do we have baby names yet??? I am always interested in what PHolks name their keets. I stuck with VERY old English, family names. James Roland II and Mary Catherine (aka Jim and Mollie) but if I ever had a third (AND I WILL NOT!) I am partial to Buffett-esque names.

My daughter was born on Labor Day! And my due date!

My doc kept telling me.... no first time babies are ever born on their due date... and I will be playing golf! I said...... you haven't met me yet have you? LOL

And sure enough.. I started the ... "its time cycle" at 3pm on Labor Day............... Amy was delivered at 4:55pm by my Doc.. clad in green polka dotted golf pants under his scrubs!!!

The first dozen or so pages was just me freaking out over the idea of having 3 kids, so save yourself the trouble

I agreed to Carson James after some margaritas at dinner this week, and I think we're going with that.
Has anybody else started talking about baby names yet?

My family has this thing with names beginning with a "T" (My dad's 9 brothers initials are TTT, though the girls are allowed to have a non-T middle name. Most of my cousins are TTT as well. My lovely wife has a thing with names with an unusual "Y" in them. Here's what we have:

Me- TJ Tryon, Jr.
Her- Jaymie Marie Tryon
My 13 year old- Teressa KimberlyAnn Tryon
Our 1 year old - Tanner Marie Tryon

New Baby Names:
Girl - Tabytha Rose Tryon (Rose is for my aunt who passed away a few years ago)
Boy - Tobyas Trey Tryon (I don't like the "Y" in Tobias - But it's a first and middle name not used in the family yet)

The boys took my first and middle name for their middle names.
James is for my father in law's first name, so that's a good fit for us.

I thought about Trey for our third boy, but we decided to stick with a C name if we could.

Had an opportunity to spend some time with the Plays two boys and let me tell you, they are two AWESOME kiddos!!

Both are full of energy and spunk, but are still so well-mannered and respectful, a real joy to be around ... looking forward to meeting little Carson. Having three kids myself, I know they don't just turn out that way - Cameron and Colton have two super parents!

MY daughter thought about Carson for her third son, but settled on Cooper, the pirate on the left.
