The first dozen or so pages was just me freaking out over the idea of having 3 kids, so save yourself the trouble
I agreed to Carson James after some margaritas at dinner this week, and I think we're going with that.
Has anybody else started talking about baby names yet?
Nope. We won't find out what we are having until sometime in July.

I know what you mean - I couldn't get into it until we knew what we were having either. I think it has to do with being able to say "him" or "her" when referring to the baby, instead of just "it".

I am holding out hope that it will be a girl. However, my wife is already calling the little rugger he.

I know it's another girl, but the lovely wife keeps pointing out that we have not had the ultrasound yet, and I don't know what the hell I'm talking about.
We've got a pregpool set up at:
http://www.pregpool.com/online/jaymiet/
We find out the baby's sex next week, and have decided for anyone wanting to know, we'll tell them after they've made their bet on the pool. Should make for a pretty interesting next couple of weeks for family and friends. Some have already used the term extortion.

My mom went into labor with me on Labor Day, but had me the day after. So every few years, my birthday (9/6) falls on Labor Day. It's nice.
Well, even though we are not finding out what we are having, we have thought of some names.
Right now our favorites are:
Allison Andrea
Ryan Patrick
But those are definitely subject to change!
I should set up a guess pool too!

Go crazy, and spell the girl's name with only one "l." I speak from experience.

That would just be
too crazy for us!
I guess I should explain the significance
Allison Andrea (We just like the first name and wanted something to go with his mom's middle name - she died when we were freshmen in HS)
Ryan Patrick (We just like Ryan and Patrick is DH's middle name)
Boring, huh?
But we are still up in the air with the boy name, so I am sure it will change often. DH vetoes a lot of my choices. When I was pregnant with Kyle, we both liked Cameron for a boy, but now not so much and I actually didn't want to name him a Buffett-esque name (don't throw things please!).

Well, I guess you can spell any way you want...you ARE the parents!
One tip, and I SOOOO mean this...if your last name also begins with the letter "A" PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE don't give her the initials "AAA." I speak from YEARS of experience on this. FAR too many jokes about "Do you belong to American Automobile Association."

We didn't know Cameron was such a popular name when we named our first son. Any time we go somewhere with a lot of kids now, we hear at least one parent yelling that name.
We're trying to find something not so popular that doesn't sound too weird. It's easier said than done!
I like both of the names you have listed.

Do it! Here's the signup page for the one I used;

Once you have it set up, post the link here and I'll add it to your section at the top of Page 1.

Mrs. Play is 24 weeks today - does anyone else get these email updates?
Babycenter.com wrote:Week 24 - Your baby's growing steadily, gaining about a quarter of a pound since last week, when he was just over a pound. Since he's almost a foot long, that makes a pretty lean figure, but her body is filling out proportionally and he'll soon put on more baby fat. Your baby's skin is thin, translucent, and wrinkled, his brain is growing rapidly, and his taste buds are developing. His lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" and cells that produce surfactant, a substance that helps the air sacs inflate easily.
Our 4 yr old was born full-term, but he didn't have surfactant in his lungs. He had to go on a ventilator and was in intensive care for 2 weeks. That was the toughest thing I've ever been through and I wouldn't wish it on anybody.
Here's hoping for safe pregnancies and healthy babies for all of our expecting parents!

In the post on the top of page 1, I added the names that BuckeyeParrothead and tjtryon are considering.
I'll try to keep everyone's sections updated, so just post in the thread or send me a PM if there are any changes (to the names or anything else for that matter).

Wait, are you telling me you have the same first and middle name but spelled with one L? That's just crazy!
Our last name is an O name, so while it's lots of vowels, I don't believe there are any organizations that have those initials!

Yep, I get the emails too! They're pretty interesting.
That's so scary about your son! I'm glad he was ok!
Kyle was born not breathing and blue. And they knocked me out the second he came out (I ended up having a C-section after a long labor) so I didn't know what was going on. Plus the drugs they gave me caused me to have hallucinations (X-Files like - think alien babies). I woke up an hour and a half later not knowing if he was ok or not. But he was - obviously. They said it was probably just the trauma of his birth that caused him not to breathe. Turns out his head was turned sideways, so that's why we had so many problems.
So I am definitely hoping for a much easier delivery than last time! And no C-section! Or drugs that cause hallucinations! (epidurals are still my friend!)
I always wish for others to have an "uneventful" delivery because that's really the best you can hope for! So that's what I wish for all of you!

No, goodness!

What I meant was that before I got married, my middle name was "Ann." My last name also started with the letter "A," so my initials were "AAA."

Oh, ok! That would be some strange coincidence, huh?
Thanks for the tip! Although I think being known as AAA is better than being known as AA, right!?

We got the tub today - thanks again!
Colton thought it was so cool he asked if he could take a bath in it
