We have a trip to Lake Chautaqua planned for the 2nd weekend in September (the weekend after Labor Day). I hope I am not too much of a whale and can actually enjoy myself! I'm finding that I am getting worn out very easily!Mr. Play wrote: I'm not an expert but at least you know what to expect this time. I do know that c-sections are becoming more and more common - something like one out of five births in the US now. I'm sorry you had trouble with the first one and I hope things will go better for you this time. Let us know when you schedule the appointment to have it done.
Debbie is doing ok - well enough to go camping in the heat this past weekend. She was pretty miserable for a couple of hours Saturday evening, but she was fine the rest of the time. We hadn't been camping with the boys before, and it was a lot of fun. She even helped them catch a few fish!
I'm still not accepting the C-section thing. I don't know why. I am sending my operative report to my new doctor so she can look over why they had to do a C/S the first time. Maybe I won't have to after all. I think it's the fact that I will be in the hospital for 4 days away from Kyle and then won't even be able to pick him up or play too much with him that's making me not want to have another one. But I'll do what's best for the baby and for me. I just don't want to have another one just because. C-sections are actually done in 1 out of 3 births now! Isn't that crazy? Just watch one hour of Discovery Health's special delivery and you would think the majority were c-sections!
Anyways, glad to hear Debbie is doing well, hope tjtryon's wife is doing well too! Hmm...2 boys so far...statistically you would think that would mean I am having a girl, but we shall see....
