Margaritaville is a primary sponsor of the Jamaican Dog sled Team. Apparently they did pretty well in their race Sunday (27 out of 40 is really good for a musher who had not seen snow before). They say that they rescue all the dogs from the Kingston Pound.

I cringe when I see lines like this ...

"The Jamaican team is sponsored by Bob Marley's record producer, Chris Blackwell, and country singer Jimmy Buffet."

I know his roots, I know he's a mish mash of styles, but I'm just soooo not a country guy and hate seeing Jimmy pigeonholed.
